The Safe Ways Home program is part of the RAR initiative for helping our members be more involved in their effort to be responsible members of the community. Safe Ways Home is a program that puts cards in the establishments and the hands of the member, so that they may offer ways to get home for those individuals who may be too intoxicated or unable to do so. Safe ways home is a program, in cooperation with local transportation businesses, that provides several ways to find a safe ride home or as a means to and from any local. These cards are distributed to every RAR establishment and businesses and are free to all who would like to take them.
Ask your server or bartender if his or her business is a Responsible ASSOCIATION RetailerS (RAR) member for access to the RAR Priority Taxi Line.
The City of Boulder, Boulder County and its communities are the newest member to RAR and the first chapter to join in 2019.
